Being a part of KPerak e-Learning Cluster is one of the best and yet challenging job to me. I worked hard to drive success in adapting pedagogical change in my school and especially the ICT based approaches. But all the hard work paid now with the existance of a new creative studio (my students called it high tech lab..haha..cute kids ) . See interesting pictures of them trying out the technologies in the studio last Wednesday ..
Pictures taken during Majlis Khatam Quran (Quran Reciting Ceremony) on Friday 17 Sept 2009. Colourful pictures with beautiful smiles on the kids faces.Angpow and bunga telur given to all students :-)
As an educator interested in creating engaging classroom atmosphere, I am always seeking for new resources to link me with my students. I want to be able to reach them and touch their heart and make them see how wonderful it is to be in my class :-). And thank God today I found a cool link from my Twitter referred to as “Cool Tools for Schools” and “Getting Tricky with Wikis” . It is recommended to be handy for my Web 2.0 needs. And of course I want to share this with all of you out there. Let's check it out ..at http://bit.ly/6BlXP
This is my second time getting this 'anugerah' and I thank God for His guidance in making me be the person I am today. Well, actually the teacher I am today.
In July 2008, I attended an international conference at Saujana Kuala Lumpur. Well, not only attended actually but I co-presented a paper there, together with Mr Jedd Bartlett , my collegue from Core Education New Zealand. It was indeed a very pleasant experience to be able to share knowledge and experience with participants from all over the world. And as a result from that gathering I am now a junior member of IFIP. The chairman, Pieter Hogenbirk, from Holland , sent me an email last month and told me that in the AGM in Brazil last month, they have agreed to bring me onboard as junior member...What an achievement! There is another similar conference going to be held in Singapore next year but I am sad to say that my application to have the MOE financing me to the conference was not supported well due to the economic crisis at present. :-(
